Welcome to your perfect weekend getaway retreat located on the banks of the majestic Missouri River in northeastern Doniphan County just a short 10 minute drive north of Wathena, KS! This unique, off the grid, 2 +/- acre property offers a spectacular view of the river and the Worthwine Island Conservation Area. The view from the bar is fantastic looking through a big picture window that hinges open to the outside to let the fresh air in and looks out over the river. The cabin has 8 solar panels located on the roof that generates enough power to run the refrigerator and lights as well as keeping your phones or accessories charged up. There is a 6'x12' deck attached to the front of the cabin which would be a great place to sit and relax in the evening or wake up to a beautiful sunrise with a cup of coffee in the morning. There is a cool fire pit built at the edge of the bank and a trail that goes down from there to access the river. Depending on the water level, there is a wing dike that is accessible most of the time from the bank that extends down the river a ways that would be a great place to fish or just enjoy being right on the water. This property has a locked/gated entrance and is located at the end of Valencia Rd which is a gravel road for about a mile and half off of the pavement. The driveway roundabout on the property has a nice gravel base with plenty of room for parking or even fitting 2 or 3 more campers in there!
