THE BUSINESS ALASKA HORSEMEN TRAIL ADVENTURES & RV PARK - TRUE ALASKA WILDERNESS LIFESTYLE YET CLOSE TO SCHOOLS - MEDICAL -SHOPPING - DINING
Established in 1997. Offered a variety of trail rides, day trips, wilderness pack trips, carriage rides, gold panning, gift shop and a horse packing service. Before Covid, cabins were marketed on Air B&B and maintained a 5-star rating. Business has been a venue for weddings, family reunions, native culture camps, company business events, yogi retreat and glamping for adventure groups.
Currently cabins and RV park are marketed to construction workers on a seasonal basis, however a greater revenue is seasonal tourist trade. This large construction road building project is to build a new highway that bypasses Cooper Landing. When finished there will be a bike trail from the property to downtown Cooper Landing as well as along the new highway. There is an underpass to access our most scenic trail rides.
The business location is walking distance to Kenai Lake, Quartz Creek, and Quartz Creek Campground, public boat launch and Quartz Creek public Airport Property is adjacent to the Sunrise Inn lodge and the Kenai River Brewery, and borders State land and the Cooper Landing Airport.
